Camden County Public Records Requests
The Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, gives the public a right to request government records in Camden County. OPRA replaced the old Right to Know Law on July 7, 2002. The law is meant to expand access to government records and create an appeals process when access is denied.
The City of Camden handles OPRA requests through its Records Management Unit at 520 Market Street, City Hall, Room 105, Camden, NJ 08102. The phone is 856-757-7049. The Camden OPRA page has request forms and instructions. Public records are also available through CORA Connect, which provides access to resolutions, ordinances, and contracts.
County-level OPRA requests go to the records custodian for each Camden County department. The county must respond within seven business days. Standard copy fees apply. If your request is denied, you can appeal to the Government Records Council.

Camden County Probate Court Records
